“I started with Carla 5 years ago and cannot recommend her highly enough. In those 5 years she's helped me through injuries, joint hypermobility, pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy and helped me get started again post pregnancy.

Carla is always watching and despite my moaning about it its what assures me that I'm in safe hands. She notices even the tiniest of tweaks needed to make sure you are doing things safely and correctly and pushes you to your potential.

We've had a change of premises, outdoor and virtual classes during covid and a change to workspaces in the gym during the 5 years. Carla always asks members views and considers everyone's needs during these transitions.

I also have to mention Carla's genuine care for all the members, she always has alternative exercises people can do for their ability, any injuries etc or just if you need something easier coz you're not feeling it that day. As well as the physical stuff, Carla seems switched on re people's emotions and mental health too. She notices when you're a bit stressed or not quite right. I've had a few messages over the years after sessions checking in if I'm OK which is always appreciated.

I feel the gym is a community, everyone is 'normal' and you don't feel judged. Sometimes sessions are quiet and chilled sometimes there's a lot of banter, either way it's always a good atmosphere.

''My other (better) half started at CPR before I did but spoke so highly of the way Carla organised and ran the sessions that it convinced me it would be a wise decision to join as well.

So I started with two sessions a week, and that quickly progressed to three as I was thoroughly impressed by Carla’s knowledge, and attention to detail for every single person regardless of shape, size, age, or ability.

I genuinely can’t recommend CPR and Carla highly enough, so I’ll finish by saying that when we recently searched for, and bought a house plot, we made sure it was still within commuting distance to CPR!''
